As a Live-in Carer, you will live in the client’s home and provide round-the-clock, person-centred care tailored to their unique needs. You’ll assist with personal care, medication, mobility support, meal preparation, companionship, and light domestic tasks.
In addition to hands-on care, you will:
- Monitor the client’s wellbeing and respond to changing needs
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with care plans
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members
- Support and guide other carers involved in the client’s care
This role requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the wider care team.
Requirements
- Minimum years’ experience in a care role, with at least 6 months in live-in care (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or equivalent qualifications)
- A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills and emotional resilience
- Ability to maintain accurate care records and follow detailed care plans
- A caring, respectful, and professional attitude
- Willingness to commit to regular live-in shifts (e.g., 1–3 weeks at a time)
