O-I has more than a century of experience crafting pure, sustainable, brand-building glass packaging for many of the world's best-known food and beverage brands. We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
You will be responsible for running one of three production lines ensuring that the line runs smoothly and effectively packing high quality products. You will do this by carrying out quality checks, providing feedback on your findings and working to resolve any issues. You are responsible for ensuring that materials are stocked up and that your line and working area are effective and hazard free.
We operate a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern rotating, 365 days per year. The salary is £15.48 per hour plus shift allowance and benefits include 26 days holiday, competitive pension scheme, onsite parking, uniform, life insurance, employee assistance programme and quarterly bonus (based on plant performance).
Qualifications
- You will have a strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- The ability to work in a safe manner ensuring the health and safety of yourself and other team members.
- Clear communication skills both verbally and written.
- Experience of working in a process manufacturing environment ideally glass or packaging.
- Experience of working shifts.
