Working in our glass manufacturing plant as part of a team or under your own initiative, you will be responsible for planned maintenance inspections on mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience in a manufacturing environment, it would be beneficial but not essential. You will have a logical approach to problem solving and good communication skills. You will be able to think on your feet and have a can-do attitude.
The primary function of this role is setting up production lines and inspection equipment, ensuring that we are within specified time frames and getting it right the first time. Training will be provided.
Qualifications: You will be a time served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (Modern Apprenticeship/City & Guilds or similar); we may also consider motor vehicle qualifications.
