Owens Group are looking for enthusiastic & conscientious HGV Class 1 ADR drivers for our Cardiff operation working on Mon - Fri day shifts. Additional hours/shifts will be available if required.
Shift Patterns - Mon-Fri
£15.50 per hour weekdays
Please note: All job offers are subject to a non-positive drug and alcohol test result.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A valid clean HGV Class 1 licence (minor points considered)
- ADR qualifications
- A digital tachograph card and full CPC
- Minimum 1 year of driving Class 1 is essential to be considered for the role
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent customer service
- Driven Class 1 within the last 6 months
- Previous multidrop experience
The Role:
Working for a fast paced family owned national company. Based at our Cardiff site, you will work Mon - Fri on our modern fleet of new or nearly new trucks. You will be responsible for the following:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
- Pre-start Vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness
- Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork
- Excellent driving assessment and induction training programme with ongoing training opportunities including Driver CPC module updates
Pay: £15.50 per hour
