Owens are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & conscientious Truck Wash Operative to support our Llangennech operation working a Monday – Friday day shift pattern 08:00 to 17:00 (half an hour lunch break deducted).
Rate of Pay
£13.25 – £13.50 per hour.
Ideal Candidate
The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- HGV Class 1 Driving licence (DESIRABLE)
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good eye for details
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- A basic grasp of machine operation and cleaning equipment operation
- A clean driving licence
Role
- Ensuring that vehicles are processed through our truck wash to set standards
- Understanding of the trailer wash system and maintaining cleanliness of HGV tractor units & trailers
- Ensuring the appearance of vehicles is at optimum levels
- Moving vehicles within the premises (full training will be provided)
- Fully complying with Health & Safety legislation as well as Owens Group policies
- Other ad‑hoc duties within the depot
