We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & conscientious Trailer Body Repairer to support our Llangennech operation, working a Monday-Friday day shift pattern from 08:00 to 17:00 (half-hour lunch break).
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out non-mechanical repairs and damage restoration to trailers, such as repairing side curtains, straps, buckles, cleaning, jet washing, etc.
- Replacing non-mechanical parts
- Working at heights using ladders and mobile platforms to repair sides and roofs of trailers
- Performing other duties as directed by the company
- Apprentice-trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance, and repair, or equivalent (advantageous but not essential)
- A clean driving license is essential
- HGV category C+E entitlement (advantageous but not essential)
- Training in IOSH working safely (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience working in a team with minimal supervision
- Transferable skills from other roles
- Ability to repair non-mechanical faults
- Team player with a flexible 'Can Do' attitude
