Position Overview:
The Shift Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech coordinates and safely executes functions related to plant assets to maximize performance and minimize unscheduled operational interruptions. This role is vital to the Denver team and contributes to successful plant operations.
Qualifications for Success:
Must haves include:
- High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years old
- Mechanical/Electrical Technical Competencies including:
- Maximizing asset operations through preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues
- Using schematics, manuals, and catalogs
- Knowledge of PLCs, electrical, and process control systems
- Adherence to safety initiatives
Additional skills:
- Training junior personnel
- Equipment inspection and troubleshooting
- Performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
- Using manufacturing communication networks
- Maintaining safety standards
- Coordinating electrical installations
- Operating powered industrial vehicles
- On-call availability
- English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills and 5+ years maintenance experience
- Electrical background and familiarity with drives, pumps, valves, gearboxes, sensors
- Experience with packaging and conveyor equipment, SAP or similar systems, and electrical components
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for up to 12 hours
- Climb stairs/ladders
- Repetitive movements and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Exposure to temperature extremes, noise, moving parts, and elevated surfaces
