Opportunity:
We're supporting a hyper-growth fintech client that is also tech-for-good. They’ve got big hiring plans for the year and are currently looking for Staff & Principal Full Stack Engineers to join the team. You’ll be working with Typescript, React.js, Node.js, Next.js & more, working to shape the product direction and technical architecture as they continue to scale their business and expand into new markets.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, deployment, feedback, and measurement.
- Communicate new features with internal and external stakeholders, gathering input pre-implementation and supporting launches.
- Design and build intuitive, high-performance web interfaces for business users.
- Lead the design and delivery of high-impact, user-facing web interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.
- Establish and uphold engineering standards through testing strategy, documentation, and code review practices.
- Act as a technical mentor and multiplier, coaching engineers, unblocking teams, and raising the overall technical bar.
Core Skills:
- Have 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript & Node.
- Proven frontend & backend engineering skills.
- Experience working with Next.js, Express & PostgreSQL.
- Experience in high pace early-stage businesses, with the ability to work end-to-end across the entire product development process, taking high ownership & accountability.
- Have experience mentoring engineers, and driving higher standards across the team.
- A problem solving, product engineering mindset.
- Strong understanding of frontend & backend software engineering best practices.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience in regulated environments (ideally fintech).
- Experience working with AI tooling.
