I'm looking for Full Stack Engineers who are excited about elegant systems as they are about real-world impact. Their mission is to reduce carbon emissions in the UK by building a razor-sharp platform for heat pumps to be installed in homes across the country.
You will join a lean, talented team of engineers and work directly on tools that accelerate the energy transition, such as:
- Automated design tools for heat pump systems
- A survey app for collecting property data on-site
- 2D/3D floorplan creators (maybe even with LiDAR and CV!)
- Country-wide data tools through large-scale scraping and mapping
- Hardware integrations (e.g. Bluetooth laser measures, sensors)
- Offline-first/PWA apps for installers on the move
Tech Stack:
- React, TypeScript, Konva, Tailwind
- Node.js, PostGREST, Prisma
- PostgreSQL / PostGIS, Docker, Atlas
- (Sunsetting Python + FastAPI)
Requirements:
- 2+ years commercial experience
- STEM Background
- React + TypeScript (you’re confident building fast, dynamic UIs)
- SQL and relational database design
- RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Scalable and secure architectures
- Owning features end-to-end, from shaping the product idea to shipping the code
