We’re seeking a Lead Back-End Developer with strong experience in Golang to join an innovative AI based Ecommerce platform.
The Company:
The company is has global presence, operating and available in 50 countries and around the world. They are investing heavily into the innovation of the product and the utilisation of AI, meaning they are now scaling up the back-end team by 2 more Golang Engineers
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the backend engineering team.
- Lead the design and the development of the backend services and API\’s
- Ensure high standards of code and conduct code reviews of other team members.
- Act as a mentor and a coach to junior engineers in the team.
- Coordinate and manage the workload of the backend engineering team
- Impliment and design technical strategies with engineering management and the CTO
Requirements for the Lead/Principal/Staff Back End Developer (Golang) | AI, Ecommerce, Scale-Up, 5 Million Users | Salary Up to £120,000 +Benefits | London, Hybrid 3 Days
- 5 years experience minimum in Back-End Technologies
- Commercial experience with Golang
- Database experience with either MSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
- Familiarality with the AWS cloud
- Experience designing and implementing mictoservices architectures
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Remuneration:
The Lead/Principal/Staff Back End Developer (Golang) role provides the following:
- Competitve Salary Up to £120,000
- 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays (Gain 1 more day every year of service)
