You will be responsible for designing and adapting economic models (including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and pricing models) to support product value demonstration in key markets. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with deep technical expertise, who can also communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

About the Job opportunity:

As a freelance modeller, you’ll be embedded into a collaborative team and contribute to:

  • Development and adaptation of economic models, including Markov models, partitioned survival models, and decision trees.
  • Analysis and interpretation of clinical trial and real-world data to inform model parameters.
  • Design of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models to support submissions to global HTA bodies (e.g., NICE, SMC, HAS, G-BA, EMA).
  • Writing and reviewing technical model documentation, user guides, and value stories aligned with payer expectations.
  • Strategic input on pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies.
  • Occasional mentoring or review of work produced by junior analysts or consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build robust, user-friendly Excel or R-based health economic models.
  • Conduct detailed sensitivity and scenario analyses.
  • Perform statistical data analysis using tools such as R, SAS, VBA, or Excel.
  • Align model development with real-world evidence and clinical outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of HTA submissions, slide decks, and payer-facing materials.
  • Communicate technical results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in health economics modelling, ideally in a consulting or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading models for HTA submissions (NICE, SMC, etc.).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in R, Excel, and/or VBA. SAS experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of HTA processes, payer requirements, and health economic methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, scientific writing, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field (MSc or PhD preferred).
