The Organic team at Proton plays a crucial role in driving traffic and expanding our customer base through SEO strategies. We are currently looking for a motivated SEO Outreach Specialist who is fluent in German to join our team. This position is vital for enhancing our outreach and link-building efforts across key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, major publications, influencers, and niche website administrators.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as PR, Social Media, Content, and Affiliates to optimize campaigns for link-building.
- Monitor and report on outreach campaign effectiveness, focusing on link acquisition and traffic improvements.
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify potential linking opportunities.
- Oversee the creation of persuasive email pitches and negotiate link acquisitions.
- Perform competitor analyses to discover new link-building opportunities.
- Ensure outreach activities comply with SEO best practices and guidelines.
- Utilize media contact databases and SEO tools effectively.
Qualifications
- Fluent or nearly fluent in English and German, both verbally and in writing.
- Background or education in PR, marketing, or a similar field.
- Experience working with news media and established relationships with journalists are advantageous.
- Proven success in improving search engine rankings.
- Experience in securing backlinks from major publications.
- Ability to create outreach campaigns that deliver long-term value.
- Comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders to highlight the value of outreach work.
- Familiarity with outreach-specific PR tools and general SEO tools.
- Understanding of SEO and its integration with marketing efforts.
