What we're looking for
- Strong Python development experience, ideally with exposure to libraries such as NumPy, Pandas or Scikit-learn.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS and Glue.
- A solid understanding of statistics and applied mathematics.
- The ability to understand, interpret and extend complex algorithms and business logic.
- A strong grounding in software engineering principles, including testing, code quality and design patterns.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
Nice to have
- Experience working with time-series, geospatial, sensor or other complex datasets.
- Exposure to machine learning or deploying ML models into production.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- AWS certifications would be beneficial

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

You'll be involved in designing and building applications, APIs and data pipelines that help transform large volumes of complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.
What you'll do
- Designing and developing data pipelines, ETL processes and backend services using Python.
- Building and maintaining APIs and microservices that deliver data products to internal and external users.
- Working with large and complex datasets
- Implementing and deploying machine learning models and statistical analysis into production environments.
- Designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure to support data and application workloads
