We’re hiring multiple Senior Product Engineers (contractors) with strong frontend or full-stack capabilities to join a large-scale public sector transformation programme. This role focuses on building modern, user-centric digital products as part of cross-functional teams spanning product, design, and engineering. You’ll be working on high-impact platforms, delivering intuitive, scalable web applications used by a wide range of users. This is a 6-month initial contract, ideal for engineers who combine strong frontend expertise with product thinking and a pragmatic approach to delivery.
This is a hands-on product engineering role with a strong focus on frontend development and user experience. You’ll be expected to:
- Build modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Contribute across the stack where needed (Node.js backend services)
- Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver user-focused features
- Translate user needs into intuitive, high-quality UI experiences
- Apply modern engineering practices including TDD, CI/CD, and component-driven development

Technical Requirements:
