Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Volunteer Legal Advisor to provide legal guidance and support to ensure our charity operates in compliance with UK law. This is a vital governance role supporting the charity’s long-term sustainability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on charity law, governance, and regulatory compliance
- Review contracts, agreements, and partnership documents
- Advise on risk management and safeguarding policies
- Support with reviewing policies including data protection, volunteering agreements, and funding contracts
- Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and UK legal requirements
- Provide guidance when needed on employment or volunteer-related matters
Requirements (Essential)
- Must be legally qualified to practise in the UK (Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent legal professional)
