Owen Reed is looking to recruit a motivated Receptionist to join a leading law firm in Exeter. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Exeter office. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in representing our firm, known for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainable growth. Full-time, permanent position in Exeter. Opportunity to work with a leading international law firm. Flexible working hours to accommodate events and shift cover. Working hours 09:30 – 17:30. (With flexibility for events/shift cover. Reception operation times are 08:00 – 17:30) The Role: As a Receptionist, you will: Deliver a professional reception service to clients, partners, and employees. Maintain a tidy and professional reception area. Meet and greet clients and visitors with a warm welcome. Handle incoming calls, redirecting them or taking messages as needed. Set up telephone, conference calls, and AV facilities. Ensure meeting rooms are client-ready and manage catering needs. Assist with marketing events and make travel arrangements. Support the General Office/Office Manager with administrative tasks. The Candidate: To excel as a Receptionist, you should have: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. Proactive initiative and a flexible, committed attitude. Strong attention to detail and a logical approach. A professional appearance and positive outlook. Previous office and reception experience is essential.
