Owen Reed is looking for a Family Solicitor for a top law firm in London. Owen Reed is recruiting a Family Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join a growing and supportive Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and has mandatory court experience, working within a fully office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied family law caseload, including private and legal aid matters.
- Handle divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic abuse applications.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, including bundles, statements and advocacy where appropriate.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, correspondence and applications.
- Provide clear, practical and sensitive legal advice to clients.
- Liaise with courts, barristers, clients and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with minimum 1 year PQE in Family Law.
- Court experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and court rules.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and client-care skills.
- Willing to work five days per week in the office.
