Owen Reed is looking for a Receptionist for a top law firm in London. 5 days in the office | 9:30am – 5:30pm

We’re seeking a polished, client-focused Receptionist to be the welcoming face of a leading international law firm in London. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a professional environment, delivers exceptional service, and keeps the front‑of‑house area running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all clients, visitors, and callers.
  • Manage a busy reception desk, ensuring the area remains organised and presentable at all times.
  • Handle incoming calls, messages, mail, and courier deliveries efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate conference room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared with all necessary equipment.
  • Support legal teams with scanning, photocopying, filing, and basic document formatting.
  • Maintain and organise physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies; place orders when required.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, scheduling support, and record‑keeping.
  • Liaise with facilities to report and coordinate office maintenance needs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and follow internal compliance procedures.
About You
  • 2–4 years’ reception/front‑of‑house experience within a law firm (essential)
  • Professional, confident, and excellent in client service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure
  • Able to present a consistently professional and polished image
Education
  • A‑Levels or equivalent
