Owen Reed is looking for a Document Production Assistant Manager (Evening) for a top law firm. This permanent role offers the opportunity to lead and manage the evening document production team, ensuring operational excellence, high-quality outputs, and exceptional client service.
Location: Remote (with occasional London office attendance)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00 β 22:00
Department: Secretarial Services
The Role: As the Evening Document Production Assistant Manager, you will lead a motivated evening team, managing workflow, delivering client-focused services, and maintaining the firmβs high standards in document production. You will work closely with the Day Assistant Manager to ensure consistency, efficiency, and ongoing team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and develop the evening DP team through regular catch-ups, performance reviews, and mentoring.
- Oversee workflow management using BigHand Now, ensuring accurate job logging, fair workload distribution, and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide hands-on support with document production tasks when needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for client queries during the evening shift.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across legal groups and Business Services to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Day Assistant Manager to continuously improve team skills and processes.
