Our Practice Group Employment, Labor and Pensions works across the entire breadth of international employment, labor and pensions issues. Clients praise us for our ability to provide quality employment legal advice in our domestic markets, coordinate advice across multiple global jurisdictions and project manage matters from initial scoping through to completion to ensure a consistent, customer-focused and seamless service. We have a strong record of working on corporate deals, supporting clients with project management and coordinating advice from multiple jurisdictions throughout deals and subsequent integrations. We overlay our knowledge of employment, labor and pensions law with considerable sector experience gained across most sectors, particularly in technology, media and telecommunications, manufacturing and engineering, energy, consumer and financial institutions.

Role and key responsibilities

  • Stakeholder engagement: Conduct regular one to one meetings with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations and future planning.
  • Adaptability and collaboration: Demonstrate client service excellence by being responsive to stakeholder requests.
  • Efficient mailbox, diary and travel management: Proactively manage mailboxes and diaries including travel coordination.
  • Meeting organisation and coordination: Draft agendas and prepare for internal and external meetings.
  • Workflow management and delegation: Own the end-to-end process, be accountable for successful conclusion of all stakeholder requests.
  • Document management: Undertake urgent and short document work.
  • Matter management: Manage the entire client and matter opening process including electronic filing.
  • Financial administration and compliance: Provide financial administrative support to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Pitch and presentation creation: Collaborate with the document production team to create impactful pitches and presentations.
  • Marketing and business development: Coordinate and organise events, create event material and communicate with attendees.
  • Championing process improvements: Advocate for process changes within the organisation.
  • Efficient administration: Manage electronic filing, records maintenance and expenses effectively.
  • Technology utilisation: Leverage the firm’s technology as a key business tool for managing, updating, reporting and research.
