Owen Payne Recruitment are working with a highly experience company looking for Team Leaders/Seniors to join their new and exciting home in the M16 area
Working in a 4 bed EBD home you will be responsible to the Deputy home Manager and in charge of leading a team of staff!

What you need:Experience working in a team leader role in a UK Childrens Residential Carelevel 3qualification in children and young peoples workforce or equivalentFlexible able to work days and night shifts

The role of Team Leader involves:

Lead and supervise the staff on shift to ensure that they carry out their duties and conduct themselves in a professional manner thats expected within the organisation.

Ensure and/or undertake verbal debriefs with staff as required and necessary and ensure relevant paperwork is completed

Always operate in accordance with Company policies and procedures, with reference to Safeguarding, Child Protection, Whistleblowing, Complaints and Representations and Behaviour Policies.

Participate in training and take responsibility for personal development. Participate in team meetings, supervisions and annual reviews in accordance with Company policy and the standards set by the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.

Support and supervise the young people in the implementation of an individual programme of life skills, key skills and independence skills and leisure in their Home and the community

Support young people within the Home in accordance with their personal/pathway/placement plans and the policies, procedures and practices of the home.

Safeguard all young people within the Home and ensure their safety and wellbeing
