Owen Payne Recruitment are recruiting for a Store's Operative for our fantastic client located in the Kingswinford area, our client specialises in the build and design of bespoke furniture.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and thriving company who are recruiting due to continued growth - This position will be a 12-week temporary to permanent role with a fantastic career growth.

Main Duties

  • Receive, check and book in deliveries of raw materials, components and finished goods
  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck
  • Pick and issue materials to production teams in line with daily schedules
  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock checks and inventory control
  • Ensure all goods are stored safely and organised for efficient retrieval
  • Prepare and pack items for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation is completed
  • Keep the stores area clean, tidy and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Any other duties as and when required

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am till 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am till 2:30pm

Rate of Pay

Requirements

  • Must hold an in-date, accredited FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or materials‑handling role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
