Smethwick (B66) area.

This position is a 12 week Temp to Perm role!!

All candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience working within a factory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load, set and feed coil’s
  • Ensure oil is at right level, adjust valves, observe gauges to control flow of metal coolants and lubricants
  • Safe and efficient use of overhead crane for material handling purposes as and when needed
  • Quality Checking
  • Ensure finished goods are correctly stored
  • Picking, Packing & Wrapping goods
  • Removal of tooling and rolls during machine changeover and storing of rolls and tools in the correct area.
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly used & stored correctly
  • Removal and disposal of all scrap/coil ends into identified areas or bins
  • General House keeping
  • Carry out any other duties commensurate with your job duties.
  • Shifts: Permanent shifts, no rotation
  • Afternoons (Monday to Thursday): 2:00pm till 11:00pm (Friday) 2:00pm till 5:30pm
  • Nights (Sunday to Thursday): 10:00pm - 6:00am
  • Rate of Pay
  • Afternoons - £14.79 per hour
  • Nights - £15.70 per hour
  • Overtime rates available
