Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Loading, unloading and moving materials safely
- Sorting and organising raw materials within the yard
- Working with steel and aluminium products
- Booking products in and out
- Taking ownership of goods-in processes
Essential Requirements
- Previous yard operative experience
- Experience working with overhead cranes
- Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Experience handling large lengths of steel
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and proactive attitude
