Pay Rate

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials safely
  • Sorting and organising raw materials within the yard
  • Working with steel and aluminium products
  • Booking products in and out
  • Taking ownership of goods-in processes

Essential Requirements

  • Previous yard operative experience
  • Experience working with overhead cranes
  • Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Experience handling large lengths of steel
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable and proactive attitude
