Owen Payne Recruitment are now recruiting experienced Steel Fabricator Welders to join their expanding team on the afternoon shift in the Bilston area.

You will play a key role in fabricating and welding mechanical components, products, and structures using a variety of tools and equipment - ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards within a leading manufacturing environment.
Hours of Work
- Training on Days - Mon to Thu: 07:00 – 15:45, Fri: 07:00 – 13:00
- Then move to Afternoons – Mon to Thu: 15:30 – 1:15
Rate of Pay
- Up to £17.85 per hour + enhanced overtime rates
- £25 per day shift allowance for afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating highway products and infrastructures according to specifications and industry standards as well as some MIG Welding
- Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
- Reading and interpret drawings to determine project requirements
- Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
- Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Any additional duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have previous Steel Fabrication experience
- Must have previous MIG Welding Experience
- Must be able to read drawings
- Must have experience with operating overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment
