Owen Payne are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Document Management company based in Birmingham who specialise in the secure handling, transportation, and storage of confidential documents for businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to join their driving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver boxes of confidential documents to and from client locations.
- Follow scheduled routes across the UK.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and any client interactions.
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of sensitive materials, adhering to security protocols.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service when meeting with clients.
Requirements
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential).
- You will be required to complete a Criminal Background Check (DBS).
- Ability to carry and handle boxes of varying weights (manual handling involved).
- Good communication skills and a professional manner.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday; 9am till 5:30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour
