Forklift Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative – Bilston
Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced FLT Driver/Yard Operative to join a growing team in Bilston. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Important: A valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience working with large lengths of Steel are essential.
Key Duties:
- Operate Counterbalance FLT and overhead crane
- Sorting raw materials in the yard
- Working with steel and aluminium
- Booking products in and out
- Take ownership of goods in
- General admin and housekeeping duties
- Work closely with production and other departments
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 07:00–15:45
Fri: 07:00–13:00
Pay: £14.38 per hour + overtime
Requirements:
- FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date)
- Previous Yard Operative experience
- Experience moving large lengths of steel
- Manufacturing background
