Are you an experienced
Counterbalance FLT Driver with previous experience handling
long lengths of steel or similar oversized materials?
We're currently recruiting for an experienced
FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a growing manufacturing business in
Bilston.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident operating a Counterbalance FLT in a busy yard environment and understands how to safely move, load and organise long steel and aluminium products.
What you'll be doing
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Loading, unloading and safely moving steel, aluminium and other raw materials
- Handling and positioning long lengths of steel
- Organising and maintaining stock within the yard
- Booking products and materials in and out
- Taking responsibility for goods-in processes
- Following site health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy yard and manufacturing team
What we're looking for
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Previous experience handling long lengths of steel or similar materialsPrevious experience working in a yard, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to work
STEEL-HANDLING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION
