Owen Mumford are looking to hire a Manufacturing Team Leader.
Scope
As the Manufacturing Team Leader you will be responsible for providing leadership to associates within a dedicated clean room. Reporting on productivity and team accomplishments to the management team, identifying and analysing problems, planning tasks and solutions whilst providing guidance to the team on development, performance & possible productivity issues. Please be aware this role is for maternity cover and is offered full time on a fixed term contract basis (Until June 2027).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that machine efficiencies are maximised and maintained and that any issues causing machine downtime are managed to their successful conclusion.
- To ensure effective communication between other members of the team, supervision and other departments, including maintenance & production control.
- Ensure that the team comply & follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instructions and apply the principles and practices of GMP.
- Responsible for ensuring that team members record accurate production data including all information required for the Batch File generation.
- To ensure line clearances are conducted according to the correct procedures.
- Verify and sign-off assembly batch files and release to the QA function.
- Ensure that the line is set up correctly including all attendant documentation and line identification.
- To be responsible for collating all “In Process” documentation that forms part of a Batch File or any other documents that are to be completed.
- Develop and monitor training plans for shift members to ensure they are fully trained and capable of carrying out their responsibilities.
- Ensure all personnel entering the work area are correctly dressed according to departmental requirements and company procedures.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- Previous experience within a supervisory role
- Experience working within assembly duties
- Experience with operating machinery
- Previous experience working within a medical company or regulated industry is beneficial
- A recognised qualification in any industrial sector
- Good Microsoft skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Organisation of associates within the team
- Completion of documents as required of a team leader
Shift Patterns Available
PM: 2:00pm to 10:00pm. These shifts are Monday-Friday.
