Scope:
As the Junior Device Technologist you will join the R&D department to support the testing, evaluation, and stability assessment of medical devices such as auto-injectors, pen injectors, pen needles, and lancing devices. The role is ideal for an early-career engineer or scientist looking to develop expertise in medical device development and testing.
Please be aware this role is offered full time on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support laboratory testing of medical and combination devices under supervision.
- Assist with functional, mechanical, and stability testing activities.
- Prepare test samples, set up equipment, and accurately record data.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and follow quality system procedures.
- Work collaboratively with senior technologists and project teams.
- Contribute to the preparation of test protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
- Support design verification and validation activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Early career experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environment.
