Owen Mumford is looking to hire an ambitious Finance Manager! As the Finance Manager you will ensure the provision of accurate, high quality financial reporting and management accounts, supporting the development of financial models and driving improvement in financial processes. This role will collaborate with managers to improve efficiency, accuracy in financial data and assist in key decision making, ultimately to improve the profit of the business. Please be aware this role is offered full time on a 12 month fixed term contract and the deadline for applications is Friday 7th August.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management accounts and other financial reports
  • Continuously review reporting process, sharing knowledge and supporting teams on how to utilise and apply the financial data within their roles
  • Prepare and deliver financial insights and results at monthly Operations lead team meetings
  • Analyse key financial information and work with managers to drive improvements to increase profitability (mainly focussed on manufacturing and supply chain costs)
  • Take ownership and provide comprehensive support with key finance related tasks i.e. the Annual Operating Plan, calculating standard costs and group transfer prices
  • Play an active role in ensuring that inventory is accurate, actively managed and minimised
  • Support with the maintenance of the Company fixed asset register, including ensuring adequate management and insurance valuation
  • Assist managers with capital investment decisions
  • Team management of 1 direct report
