A leading international property advisory business is seeking to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join its Development & UK BTR Valuation team, working across residential development and Build to Rent assets. This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS-qualified surveyor (1–2+ years PQE) to gain exposure to complex development appraisals and institutional-grade valuation work within an established and well-regarded advisory platform. The team operates nationally across Build to Rent assets, with a particular focus on London and the South East for residential development schemes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and take on increasing responsibility over time within a supportive and technically strong environment.

What you will be doing:
- Delivering valuation advice on UK Build to Rent and residential development assets
- Undertaking development appraisals, residual valuations and financial modelling
- Advising on schemes from early-stage feasibility through to stabilised assets
- Supporting lender and investor instructions, including loan security valuations
- Producing high-quality valuation reports and supporting documentation
- Managing instructions independently while maintaining accuracy and commercial awareness
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the residential valuation platform
What we are looking for:
- MRICS qualified Surveyor (1–2+ years PQE)
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Experience using DCF, investment capitalisation and residual valuation methods
- Strong Excel capability, including financial modelling and cashflow analysis
- Experience pricing residential development schemes
- Comfortable creating and working with Excel cashflows (Argus experience advantageous)
- Excellent written report-writing skills
- Commercially minded with strong communication ability
- Able to manage multiple instructions and competing priorities
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
- Full UK driving licence
