Senior Land & Partnerships Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Land & Partnerships Manager to join a growing residential developer.

This role will play a key part in delivering the regional land and partnership strategy, identifying new opportunities, and driving schemes through from initial assessment to acquisition and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and progress land and partnership opportunities across the region
  • Support the delivery of the regional land acquisition and growth strategy
  • Lead on negotiations for land acquisitions and partnership agreements
  • Take ownership of key projects, ensuring successful progression through the development lifecycle
  • Support and contribute to bid submissions and partnership proposals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Lead on community engagement activity to support scheme delivery
  • Produce regular reports, updates, and appraisals for senior stakeholders
  • Monitor existing land holdings and support future acquisition planning

The role centres around proactively sourcing and progressing land opportunities to drive business growth

Team & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Support recruitment and build a strong talent pipeline
  • Drive performance through regular reviews and development planning
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in land acquisition, planning, or partnerships within residential development
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience negotiating land deals and partnership agreements
  • Ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Effective at managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A strong blend of commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking is essential
