Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary: £80,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance Location: Oxfordshire Join a fast-growing, award-winning main contractor – and take commercial lead on a £25M+ new-build project. We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s most respected and rapidly expanding construction delivery partners. Known for delivering high-quality industrial, logistics, and commercial builds, our client is entering a major phase of growth and looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a new flagship project in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS or a Project QS ready to step up. You’ll have full commercial ownership of the project from pre-construction through to final account, supported by a forward-thinking and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: * Lead commercial delivery and cost control across the full project lifecycle * Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, payments, and variations * Ensure contract compliance and accurate reporting (CVRs, forecasts) * Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers * Manage risk, cash flow, and commercial performance on-site * Mentor junior commercial staff and promote team collaboration * Ensure adherence to company policies and SHEQ standards What We’re Looking For: * 5+ years’ experience in main contracting (Senior QS or ready for a step up) * Strong understanding of JCT/NEC contracts and contract law * Proven ability to manage budgets, reporting, and commercial risk * Experience delivering large-scale construction projects (ideally industrial/logistics) * Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Why Join My Client?
