Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments
- Supporting audit fieldwork and preparing accurate audit working papers
- Preparing accounts for a range of clients across different sectors
- Supporting both audit and accounts assignments from start to completion
- Liaising with clients and responding to queries professionally
- Working closely with senior team members, managers and partners
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Maintaining accurate working papers, files and supporting documentation
- Developing technical knowledge across audit, accounts and compliance
- Building confidence in client communication and relationship management
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Around 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Certificate Level qualification or equivalent progress through professional study
- Ideally 4+ Professional Level exams passed
- Experience across audit and accounts work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive and organised approach
- A genuine interest in continuing to develop technically and professionally
