Job description – Manage day-to-day operations of the welding and fabricating workshop – Supervise and mentor a team of welders, fabricators, and other workshop staff, – Oversee equipment maintenance and repair, – Monitor inventory levels and order supplies – Collaborate with management – Operate workshop machinery as required – Follow written and verbal instructions, as well as technical drawing details and specifications, – Liaise with supervisors and steel detailers to resolve any queries – Complete any documentation required Requirements: – Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a welding and fabricating workshop. – Extensive knowledge of welding and fabricating techniques, processes, and equipment. – Excellent organizational and time management skills – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels. – Punctual, reliable and flexible – Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding and fabricating are preferred
