The Role: We are looking for an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain cutting-edge marine electronic systems. You will work with PLCs, electric circuits, and embedded software while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves both office-based design work and on-site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical circuits (AC/DC) and PCB layouts for marine applications.
  • Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and develop embedded software in C programming.
  • Commission and maintain electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
  • Conduct on-site commissioning and fault-finding when needed.
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with marine electronic standards.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of marine electronic standards (N2K).
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens) and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
  • Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, and Hydraw for design.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marine electronics or a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning when required.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and knowledge of marine product certification.
