The Role: We are looking for an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain cutting-edge marine electronic systems. You will work with PLCs, electric circuits, and embedded software while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves both office-based design work and on-site commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical circuits (AC/DC) and PCB layouts for marine applications.
- Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and develop embedded software in C programming.
- Commission and maintain electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
- Conduct on-site commissioning and fault-finding when needed.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with marine electronic standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of marine electronic standards (N2K).
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens) and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
- Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, and Hydraw for design.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marine electronics or a similar role.
- Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning when required.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with hydraulic systems and knowledge of marine product certification.
- Practical experience in marine environments (personal or professional).
