Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of bespoke composite solutions for highly regulated industries.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their requirements and deliver innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
- Work with UK Catapult Centres to integrate advanced composite technologies into industrial applications.
- Focus on filament winding, RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding), and other advanced composite processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on NPI projects, driving innovation from concept through to implementation.
- Occasional travel for project collaboration.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent extensive experience.
- Proven hands-on expertise in composite materials and processes.
- Background in development, design, or project engineering within composites or related sectors (automotive, motorsport, F1).
- Practical experience with advanced composite or laminating techniques, automation, or collaboration with academic and research centres.
- Ability to obtain base level security clearance.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with Catapult Centres or in similar R&D environments.
- Knowledge of modern composite manufacturing techniques such as filament winding or RTM.
