I’m supporting a growing West Midlands engineering business that designs and manufactures specialist heat exchangers for a global customer base. Due to continued expansion, they’re looking to appoint a Projects Design Engineer to support new product development.
As the Projects Design Engineer, you’ll lead product design activities, manage projects from concept to launch, and work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Job Description- Thermal and mechanical design of heat exchangers
- Manage product development from concept through to production launch
- Create 3D & 2D CAD designs using PTC Creo 12
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Investigate new applications, materials, and construction methods
- Proficient in 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred; SolidWorks/Fusion 360 considered)
- Strong mechanical/thermal engineering background
- Confident communicator with good project coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- UK Driving Licence and eligible to work in the UK
