My client are currently looking for a reliable Stock controller to join their growing team in the automation systems sector. This is an ideal opportunity for someone building their career in supply chain or logistics, with full training provided and the chance to take on more responsibility over time.

You’ll be hands-on with day-to-day goods-in processes, while also developing skills in order management, stock planning, and procurement.

Initial Responsibilities
  • Receive goods into the business and process delivery paperwork
  • Physically move goods to designated areas and update teams as needed
  • Assist with stock counts, putaway, and location updates
  • Check the status of supplier orders and report progress
  • Help manage returns, exchanges, and follow-up actions
Progression After Training
  • Place and manage orders for consumables and non-critical items
  • Follow up on critical deliveries and coordinate updates (under supervision)
  • Train to safely operate a forklift truck
  • Assist with preparing and organising machine deliveries to customers
Training Plan
  • All aspects of the Goods Inwards process
  • Health and Safety within a factory/warehouse environment
  • Introduction to stock systems and business tools
  • Optional formal Buying/Procurement training after 12 months (based on suitability and interest)
