I’m currently recruiting for an exciting Senior Electronics Engineer opportunity with a growing engineering business developing high-value, highly customised machinery.
This is a genuinely hands-on role where you’ll be involved across electronics, firmware, systems engineering and product development — not just sat behind a desk.
What you’ll be doing:
- PCB design, prototyping and testing
- Electronics & firmware development for industrial applications
- Microcontroller-based systems, data acquisition & motor control
- Hands‑on troubleshooting, soldering and PCB rework
- Supporting products throughout their full lifecycle
- Working closely with mechanical, software, R&D and manufacturing teams
- 5+ years' industrial experience with electronics design
- Strong electronics and electronic control systems knowledge
- Experience with microcontrollers, firmware & communications
- PCB/circuit design and prototyping experience
- Someone comfortable getting hands‑on in the lab, workshop and manufacturing environment
- A proactive engineer who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership
Desirable: Altium, EMC/CE/LVD/MD compliance, SolidWorks, metrology and motor control experience.
