I'm currently working with a growing technology business operating within the defence sector, looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a range of technically complex projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the engineering, customers and delivery - rather than simply managing timelines from a distance.
The role:
- Manage projects from initial requirements through to successful delivery
- Take ownership of project performance, budgets, quality and timescales
- Manage projects typically ranging from £1m-£15m
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure requirements are delivered
- Manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure contractual requirements are clearly understood and delivered
- Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to keep projects on track
- Support the wider project management function and contribute to improving processes
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing complex engineering or technology projects
- Experience delivering projects within the defence, aerospace or wider high-tech sector
- Strong commercial and customer-facing experience
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and technical teams
- Experience working on projects with significant budgets and contractual requirements
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Current SC clearance is required as a condition of employment
