We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team, supporting the production of precision components within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating press brake machinery, working from engineering drawings and job instructions to produce components to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, production-based work and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent results. Previous experience with press brakes and working from engineering drawings would be beneficial.

Job Description

  • Operate and sometimes set press brake machinery to produce components to the required specification
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, work cards and job instructions
  • Carry out basic quality checks throughout the production process
  • Ensure tooling and machinery are used correctly and kept in good working condition
  • Complete production and quality records accurately
  • Report any machine faults, defects or quality issues to the relevant team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Some experience setting press brake machinery would be beneficial
  • Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Good attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work
  • Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate where required
