Are you an experienced Quality Inspector? Have you worked in quality within a highly regulated industry? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Quality Inspector for their site near Nuneaton. Reporting to the Chief Inspector, the role will involve undertaking CMM, visual, dimensional, and final inspections of precision aerospace parts and components.
Performing CMM, manual, visual, and final inspections to ensure all products meet company and customer quality requirements. Coordinating subcontract and despatch processes, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate production and inspection records. Evaluating products using inspection data, liaising with production and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement. Supporting smooth production flow through prioritised inspections, assisting operators with quality concerns, and promoting lean manufacturing principles. Developing and improving CMM inspection methods, delivering technical training, and supporting new product introduction projects.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Well-versed inspecting precision components with a range of measurement tools
- Capable of understanding engineering drawings and tolerances
- Previous experience in a relevant role within a highly regulated industry
