Are you an NPI Quality Engineer? Do you have experience with GD&T alongside the use of metrology equipment? Have you been responsible for PPAP/APQP submissions? If so, I am working with an automotive client offering a long-term contract opportunity on an Outside IR35 basis.

NPI Quality Engineer Contract: 12-18 months, ASAP Start, Telford.

Job Description:

  • Using quality methodologies such as 8D/5 Whys/Ishikawa to lead quality investigations across the site.
  • Responsible for customer PPAP submissions alongside APQP activities.
  • Working on various NPI projects within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Supplier development and monitoring.
  • Using metrology equipment and being responsible for Gauge Development.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment experience (Automotive is advantageous).
  • Proven PPAP experience.
  • Must have a good understanding around Metrology such as Gauge Development, GD&T/Tolerancing.
