Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their high-performance engineering team, supporting the manufacture of precision components for Motorsport, Automotive and Marine applications.
You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating twin spindle turning machinery, working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, traceability and documentation.
- Programme, set and operate twin spindle turning applications
- Work with Siemens controls
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T requirements
- Work to tight tolerances
- Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability
- Use a range of inspection equipment to check own work
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Familiarity of twin spindle turning applications
- Experience of Siemens Sinumerik 828D and 840D Controls
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience working to tight tolerances and conducting in-process inspection
