The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical assembly background, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience building precision machinery to a high standard. Mechanical Fitter Permanent Position Monday to Friday Mechanical Fitter Assemble mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for CNC machine tools to engineering specifications • Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation • Carry out mechanical testing, fault finding, and adjustments to ensure equipment meets quality standards • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure projects are completed on time • Mechanical Fitter Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Machine Builder, or Mechanical Assembly Technician • Experience assembling mechanical assemblies for CNC machine tools or similar precision machinery • Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work •
