We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Build Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on mechanical professional with a keen eye for detail, working on precision components and assemblies within a tight-tolerance environment.\\n\\nMechanical Build Engineer\\nSouthampton\\nPermanent\\nCompetitive Salary + Benefits\\n\\n Mechanical Build Engineer \\nKey Responsibilities:\\nAssemble and fit small mechanical components and engine parts to exacting standards.\\nWork confidently with a range of engine components such as pistons, valves, crankshafts, camshafts, and associated mechanical parts.\\nInterpret technical drawings and specifications, taking concepts through to final build.\\nWork with tight tolerances and ensure all assemblies meet quality and performance requirements.\\nUse Jira, Microsoft tools, and other software systems to log and track build data and technical issues.\\nCollaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve challenges and optimise assembly processes.\\n\\nMechanical Build Engineer \\nAbout You:\\nProven hands-on mechanical experience in a fitting, assembly, or build environment.\\nComfortable working with small components and precision assemblies.\\nWorked within a Engineering/Manufacturing environment\\nStrong working knowledge of engine parts and their functions within mechanical systems.\\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings.\\nConfident working within tight tolerances and quality-focused processes.\\nExperience using Jira, Microsoft Excel, or other data logging tools.A background in motorcycle maintenance, engine builds, or similar mechanical work would be a distinct advantage.Interested?
