We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineering Team Leader to join a global manufacturing organisation at their state-of-the-art facility. This is a permanent position offering long-term career development within a stable and growing business. You will lead a team of six maintenance engineers, overseeing all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, managing the tooling workshop, and introducing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across the site. This is a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment while supporting wider engineering projects and facilities tasks.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment, or a senior maintenance engineer ready to take the next step.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certificate highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Operations: Lead day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring rapid response to breakdowns and minimal downtime. Manage the tooling workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability.
  • Planned Maintenance & Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine the PPM schedule using CMMS. Track performance data and use it to drive efficiency and reduce unplanned outages.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6 maintenance professionals. Assign workloads, conduct performance reviews, and support team development.
  • Performance Management: Define and monitor KPIs relating to equipment availability, maintenance response times, and schedule adherence. Take ownership of service level improvements across the site.
  • Project Support & TPM Implementation: Support engineering projects, ensuring maintenance considerations are built into plans. Work closely with production teams to implement and embed TPM practices.

Package & Benefits:
