Job Description

Role: Machine Operator Type: PermanentPay: £25,000 – £33,000Hours: 38 hours per week, optional weekend work as overtimeLocation: RugbyI’m currently representing a leading Engineering andManufacturing company based in Rugby and they’re looking for a Machine Operator to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.Machine OperatorJob Description
  • Carry out regular maintenance on machines, including cleaning and small fixes
  • Check completed items to confirm they meet quality and safety rules
  • Work well with others to help reach daily and weekly production targets
  • Keep your work area tidy, safe, and well-organised at all times
  • Quickly switch machines between jobs to keep delays as short as possible
  • Stick to company guidelines to help maintain high production standards
  • Look for ways to cut down on waste and make better use of materials

Machine OperatorEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience running and setting up different types of machines
  • Confident understanding and following of technical plans and written job steps
  • Comfortable with numbers and measuring, and familiar with tools used to check sizes and fit
  • Able to get on with tasks alone or alongside others when needed
  • A positive attitude, and a strong focus in a busy work environment
  • Ability to work within a team and be reliable
  • Must have experience working as a press brake setter operator or CNC Machine operator
